Welcome

I am deeply curious about people and how they make sense of their lives. Naturally social, thoughtful, and energized by meaningful conversation, I notice patterns, ask reflective questions, and stay present with complexity rather than rushing toward easy answers. Understanding the experiences and stories people bring, even as they continue to unfold, is central to how I relate to others in both life and therapy.

I am drawn to working with people navigating grief and life transitions because I am interested in the big, often unspoken questions about identity, responsibility, and meaning. I also gravitate toward high achievers, having lived and worked in high-pressure, achievement-oriented environments my entire life. Many of my clients are thoughtful, high functioning, and used to carrying a lot internally, and I understand how insight and logic can provide clarity yet sometimes get in the way of fully experiencing emotions. In therapy, I help clients integrate thinking and feeling, explore what matters most to them, and notice patterns in themselves and their relationships in ways that lead to real understanding and growth.

As a Seattle native, I care deeply about this community and feel grateful to practice here. Outside of work, you can often find me near the water, cooking for friends and family, or exploring new spots around the city.

Training & Experience

My training includes evidence based approaches such as Gottman Method Couples Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Prolonged Grief Disorder Therapy, and trauma informed therapy. I earned my undergraduate degree at the University of Washington and my Master of Social Work from Columbia University, training that shaped my approach to mental health counseling in high pressure, complex, and diverse settings.

I have supported clients through pivotal and often painful life moments across the lifespan. This includes working with students in a low income New York City public high school navigating exclusion, trauma, burnout, and high functioning anxiety, as well as providing grief support and bereavement counseling to patients and families at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center during illness and end of life transitions. More recently, I have worked as a private practice therapist within a Seattle based group practice, offering individual therapy and couples therapy to adults and teens navigating grief, burnout, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. These experiences continue to shape my belief that even in life’s hardest seasons, there is room for connection, meaning making, and growth.
