Areas of Focus

Grief does not follow a timeline or a single path. It often moves in waves, pulling you between confronting what has been lost and trying to stay engaged with life. In our work together, we make room for both, without pressure to move on or make meaning before you are ready.
I have worked with anticipatory grief, acute loss, and long standing grief. Therapy can offer a steady place to sit with what hurts, honor what mattered, and carry grief in a way that feels more livable.
Common issues may include:
Loss of a loved one
Loss of a relationship
Loss of a past version of yourself
Prolonged grief
Acute grief
Anticipatory grief
Chronic illness

Anxiety can take over your inner world, filling your mind with constant scanning, overthinking, and pressure to get things right. Together, we look closely at the patterns that keep anxiety running the show and how it shows up in your thoughts, body, and relationships.
Our work focuses on interrupting those patterns while building a more grounded, flexible way of responding to stress, uncertainty, and internal pressure.
Common issues may include:
Persistent worrying
Racing or intrusive thoughts
Difficulty relaxing or feeling at ease
Perfectionism or fear of making mistakes
Difficulty concentrating or feeling present
Physical symptoms such as tension or restlessness
Difficulty sleeping
Feeling overwhelmed by day to day demands
-
Depression can make life feel heavy, muted, or distant, even when nothing specific seems wrong. You may feel stuck, disconnected, or unsure how to access motivation or care for yourself.
In therapy, we focus on understanding what has slowed things down and creating small, intentional shifts that support energy, self trust, and a gradual reconnection with yourself and the world around you.
Common issues may include:
Low mood or emotional numbness
Negative self talk or self criticism
Feeling disconnected or withdrawn
Low energy or fatigue
Loss of interest or pleasure
Feelings of hopelessness or emptiness
Difficulty with motivation or follow through
Changes in sleep or appetite

Many of my clients are people others describe as successful, driven, or “high functioning.” Internally they often feel exhausted, anxious, or disconnected from themselves and their relationships.
In therapy, I help clients gently step out of that cognitive comfort zone and build new experiences of being seen, imperfect, and fully human. Together we work to shift from a life organized around expectations and the inner perfectionist voice to one guided by values, authenticity, and emotional presence.
Common issues may include:
Feeling successful on the outside but unfulfilled on the inside
Chronic stress or pressure to perform
Perfectionism and fear of failure
Strained relationships or difficulty with vulnerability
Difficulty resting or slowing down
Emotional detachment or over intellectualizing
Burnout or loss of meaning
Strong inner critic or sense of never doing enough

Life changes can be exciting and terrifying all at once. Career shifts, moves, breakups, or other transitions often bring loss, uncertainty, and stress alongside opportunity. In therapy, I walk with clients through these moments of upheaval, helping them process difficult emotions, clarify priorities, and find ways to move forward with intention and resilience. Even when life feels unpredictable, therapy can be a place to regain footing, understand what matters most, and take steps toward a life that feels aligned with who you are now.
Common issues may include:
Difficulty adjusting to a new role, environment, or phase of life
Feeling stuck between what was and what is next
Increased worry or rumination
Grief related to change or loss of identity
Strained or shifting relationships
Isolation or loss of support during transition
Uncertainty about direction or decision making

Exploring your identity, whether around gender, sexuality, culture, or life roles, can bring both clarity and tension. Sometimes it feels freeing, sometimes isolating. Therapy provides a space to reflect on who you are, how you relate to the world, and how to navigate pressures both internal and external. Together, we can strengthen your sense of self, honor your experiences, and support choices that feel authentic and empowering.
Feeling disconnected from yourself or others
Difficulty asserting needs or boundaries
Navigating visibility, disclosure, or belonging
Role transitions or identity shifts
Internalized shame or self doubt
Gender or sexual identity exploration
Cultural or family expectations
